Sunrise Sunset Lite App Reviews

Simple but does what its meant for.

Sunrise Sunset Lite

I did not like this app because it kept popping up with a message that said that I was not connected to WIFI, but I was. Also, the message announced that I needed to be near a GPS signal and since I have an ITOUCH, I dont think it is a GPS anyhow. So in other words, it did not work, even after I waited a whole day for it to start up.

Not for the Touch

Lite version of Sunrise Sunset does not work on iPod Touch as GPS is required in Lite version. Paid version works with WiFi as well. Not worth the download unless you have an iPhone.

Perfect and Simple

This app is perfect, lets me choose a date well in advance and see what the sun set and sun rise will be for my current location. Never had a problem.

Saskatchewan screwed

The app doesnt seem to recognize that Sask doesnt adjust their clocks for daylight saving time. It currently shows the correct times but is off by an hour for times after March.

Perfect and simple

High quality, perfectly simple!

Handy

It is a good, simple app. Works well as a reference tool. Using it on my iPhone and it is always handy. I like it so much that I think Ill go get the $0.99 app.

Exactly what I was looking for!

This app is great! Its simple, easy to use, specific, handy, and free! If I had a credit card, I would gladly buy the paid version.

Excellent photography tool

Perfect for figuring out those golden hours, for photographers. Easy to use ap with simple to read display.

Awesome!

Love this app! Simple, gets you the info as soon as you open it! Great job!

Easy, useful

For the photographer searching for the beautiful light to set appointments, this is a perfect, easy solution.

Sunset time 2 prepare 4 sabbaths is helpful!

As a Seventh Day Adventist & therefore a sabbath keeper, this app., if it proves to be accurate will be an awesome way of integrating modern technology into the ancient (practiced since creation; see Genesis 2:1-4) practice of keeping the biblical sabbath (Friday at sunset until Saturday at sunset). Ill come back & give 5 stars once Ive confirmed accurate sunset times on Fridays! This might also be of value to Hebrews who (although in a different way than me & other Seventh Day Adventists) are the only notable others still keeping Gods 7th day sabbath.

Disappointed

You would imagine a sunset calendar to have a calendar... Think again, you can only pick a date, no idea which day of the week it is, and you cant set location manually. Pointless app.

Gadzookz

Does exactly what I want quickly and simply. Open it and the times are right there.

Works great

Ive been using it in BC and Alberta for years on my iPhone and its never let me down. Doesnt contain ads either, which is great!

Stopped working

This app no longer works with iPhone 6+. Shows location error when launched which freezes the app. Bummer.

Too much GPS requirement

iOS security has moved on from 2010 or so when this app was last updated. It requires GPS even when not using the app. I dont trust this app with full access to my location all the time so I wont use it.

Wont work without granting "always" location access

Currently, you have to allow this app to ALWAYS access your location, even when youre not using the app, for it to work. Seems sketchy for an app that Ill only look at every couple months. Why not implement a zip code option? Or, if you MUST use GPS, why not implement a location only while using the app option?

New version locks up on current iOS

New version locks up on current iOS on iPhone 7. A inset empty white box appears then nothing else happens

Arizona time?

Works great except it does not use Arizona (non day light savings) time
