The "Determining location" process takes forever so it is actually not working. Deleted it.

Hate to rate it so low but there hasnt been an update in years. Was fine with iPhone 3, but just unpleasant with 6

This app has everything you need to measure the sun, including solar noon. I love it!

I upgraded to the pro version so I could enter latitude and longitude but without an internet connection or cell phone connection, my iPhone just froze. I was on a boat offshore wanting to calculate local apparent noon but the app said location unavailable and never let me choose a manual position. I downloaded a different calculator and it worked fine. So if you until this app can work offline completely, I will not be using it. If you are hiking or sailing in an area without cell service, youll probably have the same problem. Developer - please fix this, I like the interface.
