Sunrise Sunset Lite app good for
This app is perfect, lets me choose a date well in advance and see what the sun set and sun rise will be for my current location. Never had a problem.
It is a good, simple app. Works well as a reference tool. Using it on my iPhone and it is always handy. I like it so much that I think Ill go get the $0.99 app.
This app is great! Its simple, easy to use, specific, handy, and free! If I had a credit card, I would gladly buy the paid version.
Perfect for figuring out those golden hours, for photographers. Easy to use ap with simple to read display.
Love this app! Simple, gets you the info as soon as you open it! Great job!
For the photographer searching for the beautiful light to set appointments, this is a perfect, easy solution.
Some bad moments
I did not like this app because it kept popping up with a message that said that I was not connected to WIFI, but I was. Also, the message announced that I needed to be near a GPS signal and since I have an ITOUCH, I dont think it is a GPS anyhow. So in other words, it did not work, even after I waited a whole day for it to start up.
Lite version of Sunrise Sunset does not work on iPod Touch as GPS is required in Lite version. Paid version works with WiFi as well. Not worth the download unless you have an iPhone.
The app doesnt seem to recognize that Sask doesnt adjust their clocks for daylight saving time. It currently shows the correct times but is off by an hour for times after March.
You would imagine a sunset calendar to have a calendar... Think again, you can only pick a date, no idea which day of the week it is, and you cant set location manually. Pointless app.
This app no longer works with iPhone 6+. Shows location error when launched which freezes the app. Bummer.
iOS security has moved on from 2010 or so when this app was last updated. It requires GPS even when not using the app. I dont trust this app with full access to my location all the time so I wont use it.
